I’ve been really looking forward to Liz and Fran’s Hard Days Night wedding, they are such a lovely couple its a pleasure to be around them. It hadn’t been long since I took their engagement photos and they were really relaxed in front of the camera.
I rushed to process Liz and Fran’s engagement pictures so I could have them live on the blog the morning of the wedding. when Liz saw them she was made up and had to share them with her friends as they were getting ready. Liz had a bespoke dress made which looked fabulous with her Vivienne Westwood shoes, I’m a big Westwood fan myself and wore a belt and cufflinks by her on my own wedding day.
It was all smiles as Liz got ready for her grand entrance at All Saints church in Childwall. Meanwhile, Fran was looking every bit the nervous groom at the front of All Saints church waiting for his bride’s arrival.
The wait was soon over, these two never took their eyes off each other or stopped smiling the entire day, it was great to be there capturing moments like this.
All Saints church in Childwall is a beautiful church and its a photographer friendly venue that was great to work at, I was able to capture all those precious moments unhindered – more churches should be like this!
Whenever I saw Liz’s brother I knew there would be a great photo opportunity, he never disappointed! No signing of the wedding register would be complete without an iPhone shot.
Fran celebrates walking back down the aisle, all that careful planning and now they’ve done it!
Time for a few photos before getting on the vintage bus to head out to hard days night hotel.
A whole vintage bus all to themselves… time for a kiss then :)
Some shoe envy from gran :)
A Hard Days Night wedding is always great to photograph with its rich interiors and stunning views across Liverpool’s skyline and the Liver building.
All smiles for dad’s speech…
Followed by a fun slideshow by the best men…
… The best men’s speech soon has Fran hiding from shame and Liz in tears laughing!
Liz’s brother, right on cue for another fun shot during their first dance – I want this guy at all my weddings :)
It wasn’t long before the party was in full swing, what a great wedding day!
