The Alicia Hotel Wedding | Sarah and Stu

Since photographing fellow wedding photographers, Sarah and Stu’s engagement photographs in Liverpool centre last year, Louise and I have come to look on them as friends, Stu and I have even shot together. With this in mind, I knew their blessing on UK soil was going to be an enjoyable day.

Sarah and Stu were married earlier in the month in New York but didn’t want to leave their family and friends out so decided to say their vows again at The Alicia Hotel here in Liverpool. The Alicia Hotel is a great venue situated right opposite Sefton park.

After bumping into Stu in the hotel bar I went up to Sarah’s room to photograph her bridal preparations and chat about the New York leg of their wedding. Once in her dress, I made my way back down to the ceremony room to capture her arrival and their ceremony.

Being right on the edge of Sefton Park and having perfect weather we had a brief visit for a few photos in the splendour of the Autumn colour.

After Sarah and Stu’s first dance I set up a photo booth in one of the rooms where guests could come and have some fun!
