Wedding Photography portfolio
Welcome to my wedding photography portfolio. There are 100 or more pictures in this slideshow which I hope you enjoy. They will give you a good idea of what to expect from me when I photograph your wedding. These pictures are exactly how I photograph and process my weddings so are exactly what you can expect (more on this later).
You’ll find images from all four seasons so you can see exactly how your wedding will look. There are also wedding pictures in all kinds of weather. From the gorgeous Tuscan sun to snow in Yorkshire and everything in between, I’ve photographed it. I’ve been photographing weddings for such a long time that photographically there are no situations I haven’t already encountered and conquered. I’ve shot in the sun and heat of the Sahara desert through to the pitch dark of a Cumbrian slate mine. Your wedding photography is in safe hands.
Wedding photography that captures the fun instead of spoiling it!
Most of the day I leave you to enjoy the fun of your wedding. Saying “it goes so fast” may be a cliche, but it really does! I want you to enjoy your wedding to the full, safe in the knowledge I’ve got it covered. I’ve been photographing weddings journalistically for a long time. I have developed a sixth sense, knowing where and when I need to be. Capturing your memories in beautifully composed images is what I do best. I just capture it as it happens.
This style of photography is called wedding photojournalism and is also known as reportage or candid.
Sounds perfect, is there a catch?
100% photojournalism isn’t for everyone. It’s not guaranteed to capture everyone or even the most important guests. So, if some specific pictures are important to you, I will tailor in other styles of photography. Creating the perfect wedding photography style that’s as individual as you.
My photography will always be based on photojournalism, keeping low key and unintrusive is what I do. Personalising your photography by including some of my award winning romantic couple portraits is popular with most couples. As always the emphasis is on keeping it fun and me working quickly so you spend more time with your guests and less time with me.
Lastly, just for mum, I can include a few family group pictures. Again this will be done fast and fun!
My approach means the perfect mix of journalism and contemporary images, maximising the fun for you and your guests and less time standing about bored waiting for photos.
My couples love my unique approach almost as much as they love their wedding pictures.
Reportage is a major part of Rob’s photography and accounts for 95% of his coverage meaning you get to spend most of your time with your friends and family.
Reportage is great at telling the unique story of your wedding however it doesn’t deliver the glossy magazine style images perfect for hanging large on your wall. My unique answer to this is to have a short ‘fashion portrait’ shoot away from your guests. The results from these mini fashion shoots are striking photographs that will look amazing framed on your wall. Best of all it’s fun!
My many years of experience mean I’m able to work surprisingly fast without compromising quality. Therefore, you’ll have amazing and stylish photos which will wow your friends.
