Ordsall Hall wedding | Danielle and Ste

Ordsall Hall Salford, Manchester was the venue for Danielle and Ste’s wedding. I knew from our engagement shoot that Danni and Ste were a lovely and fun couple. I’ve been really looking forward to shooting their wedding and I’ve also been excited about working at Ordsall Hall. Its a beautiful historic building, Sue and her team really go the extra to mile make their weddings special.

Danni got ready at her mum’s in Worsley, Manchester. It was a lovely, friendly atmosphere with Danni’s family and friends.

Ordsall Hall

I made my way over to Ordsall Hall, a grade 1 listed building to find Ste laughing and joking with guests. Ordsall Hall is a stately home in Salford, Manchester which dates back over 750 years, it made a great backdrop to Danni and Ste’s wedding. Danni arrived with her grandfather in a white classic car. The weather was dry for Danni’s short walk into the Hall.

The Manchester registrars are really good to work alongside and perform a great wedding service. I was able to photograph the whole wedding unhindered.

There was a no show from any of Ordsall Hall’s ghosts which was either a good thing or bad depending on your point of view. So no fuzzy apparitions lurking in the backgrounds on any of my pictures.

After the ceremony, Danni and Ste popped outside to be showered in confetti and take a few pictures before heading back inside the hall to mingle with guests.

As we moved into the evening and wedding breakfast I go ready for the speeches. Ste is a really bubbly guy, so it was no surprise his speech was hilarious. Soon after the speeches came their first dance and then the dance floor erupted! I left them to it.
