Adam and Samantha’s wedding in Thornton Hough

I always take it as an honour when other photographers trust me to capture the most important event in their lives, their wedding day! So when Adam and Sam asked me to photograph their wedding I was delighted.

I joined Sam and her bridesmaids in the morning whilst they relaxed with a few glasses of champagne while they were getting ready for the service at Mere Brook House. Once Sam was in her dress, we took a few portraits before I made my way to St Georges Church in Thornton Hough to meet a nervous looking Adam and their guests waiting for the brides grand arrival.

The ceremony was part taken by a family friend who had traveled all the way from Mombassa, Kenya along with other Kenyan’s Adam and Sam had befriended on their travels.

After the service we all headed back to Mere Brook House for Adam and Sam’s drinks reception and wedding breakfast.

The weather was against us in the afternoon but soon cleared up and gave us the opportunity to head out and take some beautiful shots in the nearby wheat fields.

Here are a few of my favourites from their wedding day…

The quality of the light (and the photo) of the alter shot is brilliant. Also, that last shot is begging to be hung on a wall. Great work!

Beautiful Rob, especially like those portraits in the field.
