Last weeks wedding in Denton Hall saw me returning to Ilkley in Yorkshire for Sarah and Chris’s wedding. It seemed like ages ago since Sarah and Chris were in Liverpool for their engagement photo shoot and it was good to see them both again.

I met up with Sarah and the girls for her bridal preparation pictures before heading off the the main part of the Hall to catch up with Chris and their guests. I recognised a fair few of the guests from other weddings I have photographed recently despite me being 80+ miles away from  my home in Liverpool.

Denton Hall is a beautiful wedding venue set in 2,500 acres of stunning Yorkshire countryside with an impressive frontage and beautiful grounds. Once inside, Denton Hall continues to impress with its beautiful room decor and the glorious spiral staircase at its centre. Sarah and Chris are a really easy going couple and it was a real pleasure to photograph their wedding. The staff at Denton Hall were all really professional and helpful which is great for photographers and couples alike. Ilkley wedding photographers are lucky to have such superb registrars allowing us to capture the wedding service unhindered, why do some areas get this so right and others so wrong? (take note Birmingham registry!).

On seeing their full gallery Sarah and Chris wrote, “Thank you so much! They’re great and have brought back so many memories of our wedding day. I keep looking at them and am so pleased. The Mums and bridesmaids are very excited about them too. Love them!”

Sarah and Chris’s day was a very relaxed day and great to photograph, here are a few of my favourites from their day…
